Emporix’s approach in the consulting process, with or without a partner, is co-creation—an ‘exploration phase’ to understand the business, discover opportunities, create ideas, and above all, define what is necessary for the first release, document this, and cast it into a backlog. We know from countless project experiences how important a clear scope with clear requirements is to start the digital journey and bring it to a successful end. We recommend working in an agile way because this focuses on transparency and joint alignment. Projects usually range between 200 PTs and 500 PTs of effort and can last from as little as 3 months to 12 months for a go-live. However, this figure is a rough estimate without a proper scoping phase.
